Updated the TOS again because I had forgotten to include our anti-spam policy. Also, have you seen My New Favourite Animal? :)

Busy busy busy... I noticed tonight that the download links were broken due to a recent change in the file listing script... now fixed. Sorry about that.

OK! Got my taxes filed on time (hurray) and managed to get some of the forums up and running as well! You can check out all the fresh forum goodness from the community forums link.

Most of the forums are public (you still need to register as a forum user) but a few are reserved for CAUS members.

Happy posting! I'll try to get some topics started over the next couple of days.

Oh, also, there is a short new article on how to swap your Caps Lock and Control keys around.

The Terms of Service have been updated to clarify acceptable uses of the community access system.

Apparently my recent Python upgrade removed one of the modules needed for the signup script. That problem has been fixed now. Those of you who have been trying to use the script might have better luck now. Next time, please let me know it's broken so I can fix it sooner :)

The new version of SiteBuilder (signature) is now available! Both Linux (i386) and Windows executables are provided, plus a basic example site.

Noticed and corrected a problem today with the signup script database. If you tried to sign up for a shell or web account using the "get account" link and received a blank page, try again. It should work now. If you have any problems, please mail support at pixin.net.

I also tweaked the colours of the file listing. They were hard to read with the new lighter background.

A new version of SiteBuilder (with both Linux and Win32 versions, plus examples) is coming as soon as I can tear myself away from Half Life long enough to write some docs :)

OK! I've written a "new account application" script, terms of service document, set up the database, and so on. Check out the "get an account" link under navigation if you're interested.
